Dyson Pure Cool™ Air Purifier Tower Fan TP04 – Dyson’s latest built-in air purifier that automatically cleans the entire room by capturing up to 99.95% of harmful pollutants.

    The issue of air pollution

If there is no COVID-19 outbreak this year, it will be another year that Thai people, especially those living in Bangkok and major cities such as Chiang Mai, will definitely have to face the risk of life from dust particles of no more than 2.5 microns or PM2.5 all year long.

Because of the arrival of Covid, PM2.5 dust in Bangkok and major cities has decreased significantly because everyone has to live at home and work from home, causing travel activities to disappear, resulting in a clear improvement in overall air quality. But after the lockdown was lifted, PM2.5 dust returned. Air quality that used to be good is about to become a big problem again.

“Long-term exposure to air pollution is linked to 15% of COVID-19 deaths worldwide.”

A study by experts in Germany and Cyprus concluded that air pollution is contributing to the global rise in COVID-19 deaths. For example, in East Asia, which has some of the worst air pollution, the study found that more than 27% of COVID-19 deaths were linked to health problems caused by poor air quality, while in Europe the proportion of deaths is around 19%, followed by 17% in North America.

Air pollution is something we can no longer ignore. It’s time for us to find measures to deal with this issue.

The issue of indoor air pollution

“Staying in the house can make you sick because the air in our house is worse than the air outside.”

Many people overlook the issue of indoor air quality because they may misunderstand that there is no pollution in the house, or if there is, it is likely to be minor compared to the effects of outdoor air pollution. However, little do they know that our homes also have air pollution that is harmful to the body, such as:

    • Potentially harmful particles and gases are commonly found in homes, including very small particles, PM2.5 dust that enters the home, household fumes and cooking fumes.
    • Cigarette smoke , in addition to having a negative effect on the health of smokers, also affects people around them. Cigarette smoke contains many chemical ingredients that can cause cancer, such as acetaldehyde, benzene, chromium, cadmium, formaldehyde, or nickel.
    • Bacteria and fungi are mostly found in mattresses, sofas, appliances, equipment, or in dark corners of the house. Bacteria and fungi are also the cause of asthma and allergies.
    • Perfumes, air fresheners, or scented candles can make the air quality in your home worse, and can also affect people with asthma or allergies. This is because perfumes, air fresheners, or scented candles contain harmful chemicals that can disrupt our body systems, such as alcohol, VOCs, formaldehyde, petroleum distillates, limonene, etc.
    • Paints Some types or brands of paints contain VOCs (Volatile organic compounds) or volatile substances. It is highly possible to smell a strong odor from the paint. Some people may experience a burning sensation in their nose, dizziness, or vomiting.
    • Inefficient air conditioning and ventilation systems in homes. Air conditioning systems that have a lot of dust, germs and bacteria accumulated in them. And if the ventilation is inefficient, it will not allow proper air circulation, causing pollutants in the home to circulate in the same place and not be released outside the home.

There are also many other indoor pollutants that come from things and appliances, such as carpets, curtains, piles of documents, clothing, computer equipment, office supplies, and others.

“As we spend more time at home, we need to be more mindful of the quality of air in our homes.”

In particular, our behavior and lifestyle have changed a lot after the arrival of COVID. “Work From Home” has become the new standard of work in the current era. And if our home has close members, whether children, the elderly, or people with respiratory illnesses, asthma, or allergies, we must pay more attention to the quality of air in our homes.

Solve indoor air pollution problems with the Dyson Pure Cool™ Air Purifier Tower Fan TP04.

Is the Dyson Pure Cool™ TP04 really as good as it sounds?

Dyson comes with design and innovation. If you look at the price alone, it may be expensive. But if you look at the usage, convenience, and better health for us and our family, it is definitely worth it.

If we take the price of the Dyson Pure Cool™ Air Purifier Tower Fan TP04, which is priced at 27,900 baht, with a 10% discount, it is 25,110 baht, with a 2-year warranty, which is an average of only 35 baht per day.

For the 360-degree sealed HEPA filter and activated carbon, the whole set costs 1,990 + 2,890 = 4,880 baht. Use it for 2 years, which is only 6-7 baht per day on average.

“Invest for health, for better indoor air quality.”

The investment, when exchanged for health problems and medical expenses from respiratory problems of us and our family members, is very worthwhile.

Let’s say that the Dyson Pure Cool™ TP04 is a fan with air purifier that comes with all the functions to prevent air pollution problems in the home.
