Park Jai – Let nature recharge your life Did you know that being in nature can help us relax and reduce stress from work?

The COVID-19 disaster has forced people to work from home more. It is clear that people are more depressed and depressed than usual. Some people are even burned out. Now that the COVID-19 situation has begun to improve, people are flocking to get closer to or in touch with nature more. Therefore, the question is, “Does nature offer more than we think?”

We all know that nature has many things that humans need. Anyone who has been to the sea, mountains, or experienced mist knows that nature can provide us with some relaxation. It’s just that our world has nature to offer us. But how can we access nature to gain natural energy to recharge our lives?

Mr. Surasak Tesakhon or Mr. Ton, a lecturer of “Park Jai” or “Park Jai” and the head of special activities of Sarakadee Magazine, has used the “Park Jai” activity, which means “Park” or “Park”, which means a garden, to take people to connect with nature. All of us humans already have tools that we can use to “touch” or “reach” nature, but most of us don’t know how to use them.

What do humans have? Humans have “senses” that come with them since birth: ears, eyes, nose, tongue, body, and mind. If we know how to use our senses to take us closer to nature, more delicately and deeply, such as using our ears to listen with our hearts, using our eyes to see details, or using our physical senses to touch and feel the small things that we used to overlook, we will be able to draw energy from nature to recharge our lives.

Bring the power of nature home

Khun Sasithon Champadet , or Khun Pi Mai, a private media company employee and writer, has lived her life during COVID-19 no differently than others. She had to stay in a square condo room, which made her feel very uncomfortable. Working in mass media was even more affected because during that time, she had to work without going to the field or interacting with people. It seemed like there was more work every day because she woke up and immediately encountered work. She felt that work was very close to her because the time she used to spend commuting and stopping for meals along the way had disappeared. It seemed like things were good at first, but as time went on, it became more uncomfortable because her life was full of work even though she was at home.

When participating in the “Park Jai” activity, the first thing to do is to “open your mind” to what they invite us to do. The activity is held in a public park or a natural area, but importantly, we can take this skill of accessing the power of nature back home and do it, whether it’s on our small balcony or at the dining table.

You Pi Mai herself has had experience in participating in activities at Khao Yai, not just going to “see” nature, but also “immersing” in nature through our sensory or touch, such as activities that invite us to listen to nature more, because nowadays people compete to talk and listen less. The “Park Jai” activity helps us to let ourselves go with nature and listen to nature, such as the sound of birds or listen to what sounds there are, how close or far, or to use more sight than usual, look far, look wide and detailed. When you get back home, take five or ten minutes to recharge yourself with these skills that connect to nature.

The power of nature is Dharma.

There are some people who were born and grew up in the countryside and can still remember the moment when their grandparents taught them about this and that under the tamarind tree. One day, when they grew up and saw the tamarind tree, they remembered that feeling. Or some people who are city people have the opportunity to go to the forest, mountains, or the sea with their parents. Today, they remember it. In fact, humans always need nature to help balance their lives. People therefore return to the sea, mountains, or various natural places. However, in the past, when they went to visit real nature, they did not feel satisfied. Whether before or after going, they did not see much change.

“Part Jai” activity, an activity that uses our sensory to access nature and bring it back to use with ourselves at home, teaching you Pi Mai to apply this skill to life close to us, in small details such as listening to the sound of water pouring coffee and finding that there is a delicate sound of water that seeps into the coffee powder more clearly, or the occurrence of more awareness or seeing more widely like an owl’s eyes. Sometimes we see the sky, see buildings, see people and even see behavior.

When our life or work is multi-function, our mental life becomes very tiring. The activity “Park Jai” helps us relax. What is clear is that we see people around us more, we see them more, our minds become more gentle. Or when we have to look at nature, we go into the forest and see trees, roots. We use all five of our senses, making us see people around us more. We accept people and nature. We become more gentle, instead of going out and being annoyed by people and the sounds of nature around us.
