Design Thinking skills are a process used to create new innovations, new products, new work processes, new ways of working, or new ways of solving problems. It is a process that focuses on truly understanding people.

People here are users or called Users in searching for ways to solve problems in all dimensions of using products, services, systems or even life by looking at the impact of using those things on the lives of users or those affected, etc.

    What is Design Thinking ?

Design Thinking has been translated into Thai as Design Thinking.

It is a method that starts with thinking without any framework, not starting with setting the problem as the main issue, like the problem-solving methods that we commonly see.

Because each step of Design Thinking will lead us to gain in-depth information about the root cause. And many times, we are surprised that the real problem in that matter is different from the problem we set out from the beginning. This gives us new and innovative ideas that can eliminate or solve the root problem and lead to products or services that truly meet the needs of users.

    For example,

    • Airbnb initially almost failed miserably. When they applied Design Thinking to save the business, the result was that they came up with a famous solution, which generated $2.6 billion in revenue.
    • Uber also uses Design Thinking, which led to the creation of an additional business for Uber, Uber Eats, or Food Delivery Service.
    • In the banking industry abroad, Design Thinking has also been used to improve and develop its own products and services, such as Bank of America or Deutsche Bank.

Therefore, when using Design Thinking, it is not just about developing products or services or developing work processes. But Design Thinking can be applied in more ways than many people think.

“Everyone can be a designer who can design their own life.”

With the concept of Design Thinking applied to creative thinking, systems, products or services, it can also be used as a process to help working people like us solve problems that we encounter in our working lives.

Whether it is a problem of career path blockage, finding a way to advance in one’s career, or even finding a way to generate additional income, or finding a way to do business in the future, etc.

Designing our own lives with the Design Thinking process using our own resources will lead us to find the right way, method, and approach in our own unique way. Of course, it must be something cool and make us stand out and be different from others.

“The results of Design Thinking allow us to see and understand consumer problems more.”

This has led many large companies abroad to invest heavily in having their mid-level to high-level employees study Design Thinking because they see the importance of this skill, which can be applied to real life and promotes employees to have opportunities and be able to think, find methods and answers to meet the needs of both their work and their own lives.

The company wants its employees to be happy and feel that working under constraints or having problems is normal, and can be managed easily. Many things can be done or managed by oneself using the Design Thinking process.

The matter of Design Thinking skills is very important for working people. You can’t miss this because it is a skill that can help working people like us create a competitive advantage in our work. More importantly, it is a skill that employers these days are looking for.

Therefore, if you want to progress quickly and go faster than others, having Design Thinking skills will make your life feel like it’s turbocharged.
